R.J.’S TOURS LTD - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

At the time of R.J.’S TOURS LTD confirming your tour, you have entered into a contract with us under the following terms and conditions.

DEPOSIT

A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is payable at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Cancellation insurance must be purchased at the time of booking. R.J.’S TOURS LTD. must receive the deposit within 7 days from the date of booking. FINAL PAYMENT is due and must be received by R.J.’S TOURS LTD. no later than 60 days prior to departure. If your tour is booked within the required 60 days, full payment is due.

CALCELLATION PENALTIES AND CHANGES

Between 120 and 90 days prior to departure 25%
Between 89 and 61 days prior to departure 50%
60 days prior to departure 100%

ALL CANCELLATIONS BY TELEPHONE MUST BE FOLLOWED UP IN WRITING. A $30.00 service fee will be levied for each change for each file., provided documents have not been issued. Once documents have been issued a $50.00 service fee will apply in addition to any charges applied by the airlines, our ground operators overseas or wherever the destination of our tour.

TOUR COSTS

Tour costs quoted in R.J.’S TOURS LTD. Brochures are quoted in Canadian dollars and are based on prices current at the time of printing. Not included in tour costs, unless otherwise stated, are airport taxes, visa fees, insurance, items of a personal nature, gratuities, etc. unless otherwise stated.

STANDARDS

Living standards and practices as well as standards and conditions with respect to the provision of utilities, sanitation, services and the grading of accommodation that differ from Canadian standards may be encountered during your travels. Hotel ratings may not be based on Canadian standards. Therefore, they cannot be compared to or judged by our domestic standards.

R.J.’S TOURS LTD. Cannot always guarantee the designated hotels, programs or exact itineraries, as our suppliers reserve the right to change or cancel the pre-arranged itineraries including means of transportation, if reasons arise beyond their control.

TRAVELING ALONE

Participants traveling alone but wishing to share accommodation with a suitable roommate must pay the single supplement until one is found. The single supplement will be refunded with the final documentation. R.J.’S TOURS LTD. cannot assume any responsibility should such an arrangement not be available or suitable.

DOCUMENTATION

It is the full responsibility and expense of consumers to obtain all documents required by all relevant government authorities. Canadian citizens must show proof of citizenship (birth certificate or citizenship card) and official identity card with picture for destinations where passports and visa’s are not required. One (1) parent traveling with a child may have to produce an affidavit signed by the other parent authorizing the child to travel. At the time of booking, consumers must check with RJ’S TOURS LTD. To find out which documents are required, and then make certain they have the documents in hand prior to departure. Consumers failing to provide the required documents may be denied boarding privileges by the carrier or relevant authorities without further recourse or the possibility of a refund. No refund or replacement will be given for lost or stolen travel documents.

CRIMINAL RECORD

Travelers are required to inform RJ’S TOURS LTD., in confidence, if they have a criminal record. Consumers failing to do so may be denied boarding privileges by the carrier or relevant authorities. No refund or replacement will be given to those denied boarding.

FLIGHT SCHEDULE

All flight times are subject to change with or without prior notice to the passenger or agent. RJ’S TOURS LTD does not accept liability for missed connections or any expenses resulting from rescheduled or late flight operations. Airfares are economy class and are based on tariffs and exchange rates in effect at the time the tour was prepared. The passage contract used by these carriers when issued constitutes the sole contract between carrier and you.

In purchasing the passage contract, you acknowledge and accept the foregoing conditions. When you fly to and from your destination, the conditions of carriage apply, some of which limit or exclude liability.

BAGGAGE

Air carriers have individual rules and regulations with respect to baggage weight, size and number. Consumers must consult with

RJ’S TOURS LTD for applicable restrictions.

TRAVELLERS RESPONSIBILITY

Travelers have the responsibility to be in sufficiently good health to undertake the trip, to take along sufficient quantities of all medicines that they may require and carry them in their hand luggage at all times.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Consumers should purchase travel insurance as a measure of added protection. For all information and details about the travel insurance plan best suited to their needs, consumers are advised to consult with RJ’S TOURS LTD

PHYSICAL DISABILITIES

All participants in RJ’S TOURS LTD packaged tours with physical disabilities requiring special attention or treatments must report such requests at the time of reservation. RJ’S TOURS LTD reserves the right to accept or retain anyone who may, in their sole judgment, require care or attention beyond that which can be provided. Airports in some countries do not have wheelchair facilities.

RJ’S TOURS LTD RESPONSIBILITIES

RJ’S TOURS LTD is responsible for the arrangement of your local accommodations, which include hotels, meals, services, sightseeing excursions, theatre visits, transportation and are acting as agents in obtaining transportation, accommodations and all other services for those participating in the tour identified on this application form.

RJ’S TOURS LTD shall not be liable or held responsible directly or indirectly for delays, injury, loss (including death) or damage to any person or property occasioned by neglect or default of any person, company or association providing accommodations, transportation or other services in connection with the tour. RJ'S TOURS LTD will not be held responsible for loss of enjoyment, disappointments, distress or frustration, whether physical or mental resulting from mechanical breakdowns, government refusal to issue you a visa, your health problems or your disabilities existing prior to or arising during or as a result of your travel. The right is reserved without penalty for

RJ’S TOURS LTD to withdraw all or any part of the tour should conditions warrant, with or without notice as may be necessary for convenience and/or safety of tour members and proper execution of the tour or for any reason whatsoever. The right is also reserved to decline or accept or retain any person as a tour member, in which case equitable refund will be made at the discretion of RJ’S TOURS LTD. The transportation companies concerned are not held responsible for any act, commission or event during the time the passengers are not on board their conveyances. The passage contract in use by the other carriers concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the carrier and the purchaser of the tour and/or passenger. The foregoing is all subject to interpretation according to the laws of the Province of Alberta and by entering into this contract with RJ’S TOUS LTD, you agree to settle all disputes within the laws of the Province of Alberta and allow for exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta. No person other than an authorized representative of

RJ’S TOURS LTD is authorized to vary, add or waive any term or condition in our brochure(s), including any term or condition set forth in the preceding or following provisions. Every effort is made to ensure brochure accuracy at the time of going to press, however

RJ’S TOURS LTD is not responsible for printing or typographical errors, or errors arising from unseen circumstances.

INDEPENDENT TRAVEL

Independent travel is fully non-refundable 42 days prior to departure and is subject to all the rules and regulations of all suppliers concerned. If for any reason, during your stay on an independent basis, you decide to change or cancel any portion of your itinerary, you must obtain written authorization from the ground operator, whether a

RJ’S TOURS LTD employee or otherwise handling this service. Unused portions or vouchers will NOT be refunded by

RJ’S TOURS LTD unless accompanied by an authorization for refund from the ground operator or hotel service bureau.
